It was a sunny peaceful day but at night it turned into a dark violent night with a large storm. In my cabin I could still hear the rain pounding on the deck above and the ship was rocking violently. I thought the boat would sink then my worst nightmare came true, the emergency bell rang and told us to go into the lifeboats. I was scared and afraid to move but I managed to get out onto one of the small-one person lifeboat and I sailed to an unknown land.

The lifeboat rocked like a wild animal, it rocked so hard I nearly fell off. There was a lot of waves and the first minute on the lifeboat, I was drenched. All of my provisions were swept overboard, only by some miracle I could survive. A huge wave swept me overboard and I started swimming. I saw land, that was the last thing I saw before it went black.

When I woke up I found myself in a hut of some sort. It had 1 bed, a shelf full of bottles and another filled with books. There also was a basin of water, strange instruments, a plant, and many diagrams on the walls. I also saw an old man standing beside me.

"Are you all right?" He said.

"I'm fine," I said "What is your name and where am I?

"My name is Alczeka Shek, a healer and you are in Pillage, in Occile."

I never heard of such an island nor was it charted on any map I have seen. I was eager to explore this land so I asked him but he said no. He said yes when I asked if I could see his marvelous collection of books. They were filled with strange diagrams. One had a sun with a snake around it. He asked for my name and I said Jhon Sczevaka.

I walked to my desk to get my journal and I put:

June 24,

Today I found a boy called Jhon Sczevaka. I do not think he came from around here since he didn't know this place. He was curious and eager to explore. He seems like a bright boy and thirsty for knowledge.

I suddenly heard "Alkczeka?"

I jumped and saw only Jhon. I said "What can I do for you?"

"I can't get to sleep because I miss my own bed and it is too silent. Where I come from I always hear the lullaby from my mother."

"How does it sound like, I can try to sing it until you fall asleep."

His eyes lit up at the thought, he probably was thinking that he could get some sleep at last. I was sleepy myself and was happy to get a few hours of sleep. He showed me how the song sounds like and he soon fell asleep in a few minutes of singing the lullaby. I went to bed an soon fell asleep.

I dreamt that the boy grew into a monster and ravaged the land and destroyed everything in his way. I woke up with beads of sweat my heart beat faster. I checked Jhons bed and what I saw was him sleeping. I relaxed and laughed at the silly dream.

The next day while I was looking through the books I saw a weird alphabet of some sort and I asked Alczeka what it was. He said it was the old alphabet, the ones his ancestors used to write. There was a couple of phrases which he said were old prophecies of the prophet Kov'ar.
